This first song, Real Life by Lanterns on the Lake has a glorious feel about it. There's so much energy and emotion in the singing and playing. This is from the new album, Versions of Us which is the first since their drummer left the band. Philip Selway from Radiohead guests drums on this track.
To choose a song to pair this with I went through a number of different ideas including tracks by Ride, Gorillaz and Jeniferever. In the end I went with a another "drummy" song - Here it Comes by Doves from their debut album.
