This first song is so deceptively simple yet it seems to reveal more complex layers upon every listen. It's Lost ft. Tom Misch, Frida Touray by the partnership of producers Goldie & James Davidson under the name Subjective.
To pair with this I've chosen a live version of Daniel by Bat for Lashes. This shows just how talented an artist she is, pairing the song down to a simple beat along with a few acoustic and electronica instruments adds a new fragility to it.
The Daniel character in the song is Daniel LaRusso from the 1984 movie The Karate Kid, who was her childhood crush.
