This first song by Fontaine's DC was inspired by the birth of the guitarists new child. From a statement they made about the track on Billboard Bassist Donor Deegan said
"The feeling of hope a child can give is profound and moving, especially for young men like us. That sense of wanting to create a world for them to grow up in happily. It's a feeling that fights against the cynicism that can often overtake us in the modern world. So we wanted to declare which side we were on -- it really is amazing to be young."
To pair with this I've chosen another uplifting song, "So here we are" by Bloc Party. This reminds me of a meditative walk or run. There's so much going on underneath with the guitars and drums and over the top is this simple melody soaring above, like a quiet mind sitting above a frantic moving body.
