At the time of writing this the winner of his years Mercury Music Prize hasn't been announced yet. Gwenno's new album is one of the nominees and this first song, 'An Stevel Nowydh' is the first single from it. My favourite part is the repeated refrain at the end where Gwenno is doing some fine dancing around the empty village streets.
To pair with this I've chosen Sweet Saviour by Villagers which came out in 2018. This song is sublimely beautiful with a great rhythm to it. I love the way the energy slowly builds up.
